About Drift Candles
Every candle from Drift Trading Co. is lovingly hand-poured by our small family business on the Gold Coast. Each candle is poured in small batches to ensure a strong, consistent fragrance from the first burn to the last.
Our candles are non-toxic, cruelty-free, and safe to enjoy in your home or workspace.
Wax: Made with premium 100% natural soy wax — sustainable, renewable, and biodegradable.
Fragrance Oils: Sourced from Australian manufacturers specifically for candles and room sprays. Our oils are phthalate-free, adhere to RIFM and IFRA safety standards, and are never tested on animals.

Candle Care & Safety
Allow melted wax to reach the vessel’s edges during the first burn. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn with maximum burn time.
Trim your wick:
Before each burn, trim the wick to approximately 5mm. This helps reduce smoke and “mushrooming”, encouraging a cleaner, longer burn.
Burn times:
Limit burns to a maximum of 3 hours each time.
XL Amber Candles:
Once the wax reaches halfway down the vessel, burn for no longer than 1 hour at a time and monitor carefully.
General safety:
Always place on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Always leave 1–1.5 cm of wax at the bottom of the vessel.
