'First To See the Sun’ is an original artwork by Bec Talbot
Acrylic, ink and sand on canvas
43cm x 53cm
Oak float frame
Signed certificate of authenticity
Perched between land and sea, the headland holds the final glow of the day as the ocean shifts through deepening shades of blue. The lighthouse stands quietly above it all—a familiar marker of home, direction and return. Rather than capturing the landscape exactly as it appears, this work explores the feeling of standing at the edge of Byron, where wind, water and light converge, and memories settle into place.
Please note: This piece is part of my ‘Spirit of place’ exhibition, and will be available for shipping after 19th July.
